Parking

The Botanical Gardens have changed many of their parking rules, and we have to abide by their rules.

Trailers can arrive at the Botanical Gardens at 0700 sharp when we'll have the Fisherman's Gate open. We will have people stationed there to direct the parking. Only rowing shell trailers, tow vehicles, roof top boat carriers and vehicles with loads of rowing and race support gear are permitted in the trailer area. This will be close to the launch docks.

All other vehicles will park in the designated parking lot off the duck feeding station. There will be signs, and attendants will be there to guide you. There is no parking fee this year. The entrance to the parking lot is one-way. The exit from the parking lot is directly on to Azalea Road.

At 9:00am our parking lot will close. After 9:00am, cars will be directed through the normal Botanical Gardens entrance. If you say you are there for the regatta, you can enter for free, and the parking will be in the general Botanical Gardens parking area near the main building (longer walk). Best to arrive before 9:00am.

There is to be no parking along the causeway, overlooking the finish line. Botanical Gardens staff will be monitoring the causeway and moving on anyone who parks there.

Botanical Gardens Sprints Trophy

The boat club with the highest total cumulative points will be awarded the Norfolk Botanical Gardens Sprints Points Trophy.
